That is what ‘Rock The Vote’ should change their name to. Rock The Dope. Because that is who they appeal to and that is how they act.
Rock The Dope’s website says they provide education. Unfortunately, their “education” only teaches young (18-29) people to vote Democrat. They strive to fill young people’s heads with Democrat talking points and ignorance in order to get Democrat legislation passed. Rock The Dope is nothing more than a propaganda machine and a tiny, little wing of the Democrat party. If they really wanted to educate the youth they wouldn’t need celebrities, healthcare satire videos, or music. They aren’t a diverse or open-minded group when it come to politics. They assume all young people are progressive and should vote Democrat.
Rock the Vote’s mission is to engage and build the political power of young people in order to achieve progressive change in our country.
Rock the Vote uses music, popular culture and new technologies to engage and incite young people to register and vote in every election. And we give young people the tools to identify, learn about, and take action on the issues that affect their lives, and leverage their power in the political process.
We are creative, effective, and controlled by nobody’s agenda but our own – we tell it like it is and pride ourselves on being a trusted source for information on politics. We empower the 45 million young people in America who want to step up, claim their voice in the political process, and change the way politics is done.
I seriously think groups like Rock The Vote will help America vote themselves into Communism as long as the dictator has a (D) next to his or her name. Progressives are the new Commies these days. Rock The Dope isn’t about actually reading and understanding the Democrat’s 2,000 plus page healthcare bill. It’s about helping to get it passed by any means necessary.
Watch the video to see how Rock The Dope tries to teach their audience about the healthcare bills which will take over 1/6 of the economy, not provide benefits for three years and start taxing us immediately. Not to mention, millions of American still won’t have insurance coverage in 2019. But you didn’t hear any of that in the video below. You didn’t learn one single thing.
Here are some excerpts from the Rock The Dope website.
1. “President Obama laid out a bold vision for change – a new clean energy economy, health care reform, and a student loan system that puts students ahead of the banks. Guess what: change isn’t easy. The polluters are lining up against clean energy and green jobs. The insurance companies are trying to stop health care reform. The banks are mounting up to thwart student loan reform.”
2. Their website has banners that say ‘Yes We Demand Healthcare’ as they ask for donations.
3. On Rock The Vote’s website they sell Perez Hilton’s tee-shirts that say, ‘We Can, We Will, Health Care For All’.
4. Their website provides youth with voter registration info. and a voter help desk which includes voting as a felon.
I am offended that Rock The Dope thinks this video will attract young people to government-run ObamaCare. The video proves Rock The Dope’s lack of interest in teaching the youth about the healthcare bill’s specifics. I say to Rock The Dope–Stop treating young people like they are stupid–. Challenge them to think for themselves. And read the healthcare, stimulus, spending, and all other bills. Get P Diddy or whatever celebrity you want, and have them read the entire healthcare bill on video. Can you imagine if Rock The Dope actually tried to understand the HC bill? Only then would they understand Democrat’s healthcare “reform”.
