I heard about this story today from a friend and I had immediately thought to myself: “Oh, he just made that story up”. Nope, it’s really true. Yesterday at a DNC fundraiser in Washington, Obama tried to convince the audience that he was still committed to passing healthcare (NOT). To show his commitment, Obama offered up this hard luck story about a campaign staffer he “knew” in St. Louis:
I got a letter — I got a note today from one of my staff — they forwarded it to me — from a woman in St. Louis who had been part of our campaign, very active, who had passed away from breast cancer. She didn’t have insurance. She couldn’t afford it, so she had put off having the kind of exams that she needed. And she had fought a tough battle for four years. All through the campaign she was fighting it, but finally she succumbed to it. And she insisted she’s going to be buried in an Obama t-shirt.

If this doesn’t scream egomaniac, I don’t know what does. Didn’t he feel the least bit funny about mentioning the Obama t-shirt? I am glad the audience laughed at him.
Obama is such a liar too. This woman, whose name he doesn’t even remember, had health insurance! To make matters worse, he is also lying about being committed to passing healthcare. He is just telling the audience that so they don’t completely freak on him.
Speaking of lies, if you can stomach it, listen to the first couple of minutes where the audience is cheering his every sentence. Watch as he starts to boast about his accomplishments how the audience’s applause diminishes to nothing, especially when he gets to the part about putting earmarks put online. Yes, he actually had the gall to count putting earmarks online as an accomplishment!

Don’t you think that if this woman was campaigning for Obama that he could have personally paid for or raised money to get her healthcare. I’m serious. If I was a millionaire and President of the US and wanted everyone to have healthcare, I would, no doubt, help a woman who was working for me who had cancer and no healthcare. But she did have healthcare. That wasn’t the problem Obama. Many illnesses can’t be treated and people die. And you need to stop using them for your political gain.
