Scott Brown voted with Democrats today to move the Senate Jobs Bill forward. We all knew Scott Brown wasn’t a tried and true conservative. He was elected as America’s Panic Button to stop ObamaCare. That is what he promised and that is what he had better deliver on. So this vote should not come as a big surprise to anyone.

Here is what Brown said about his vote [emphasis mine]:

Washington Post:

”I came to Washington to be an independent voice, to put politics aside, and to do everything in my power to help create jobs for Massachusetts families,” Brown said in a statement issued by his office. “This Senate jobs bill is not perfect. I wish the tax cuts were deeper and broader, but I will vote for it because it contains measures that will help put people back to work.

“I was disappointed with the continuation of politics-as-usual in the drafting of this bill, as it was crafted behind closed doors, without transparency and accountability. I hope for improvements in that process going forward. All of us, Republicans and Democrats, have to work together to get our economy back on track. I hope my vote today is a strong step toward restoring bipartisanship in Washington.”

I highlighted those phrases because this is the illogic I find so maddening with moderates. Brown laments about the lack of transparency and accountability, but throws away any possibility for reform when he abandons principles for the sake of bipartisanship.

Memo to Brown: If you want more open and accountable government, then be a man and stand up for it! Next time vote “NO” and say if they want your vote, then everything must be out in the open.

It didn’t take long for Scott to become a turncoat. How can you be conservative if you vote to continue spending money we don’t have! What a disappointment you are.

To: Scott Brown:
I am appalled to think, you worked your way into Ted Kennedy’s seat, in order to go along with Obama and his administration, when you promised the American people; things would be different after you were swon into your position. Is it not enough, that there is too much government involvment into the lives of the American people, that the people cannot wipe their asses for too much government involvment? Is it not enough, there is too much high spending by Obama and his administration; too much high taxes against the poor and middle classs. Is it not enough, that there is too much government take over by Obama and his administration, that American people are afraid of losing their freedom. Is it not enough our sovereing nation stands almost defeated. Is it not enough, Obama and his administration continue taking from the people what they once stood for? Is it not enough evil continues in Washington, D. C. but, no one is big enough to stop it? Is it not enough the American people’s voices were silenced at town hall meetings; however, Obama and his administration called every American, evil mongers, hateful, even crackpot tyrants with low mindsets for asking pertinent questions regarding Obama’s healch care reform bill. It is not enough that there continues too much government involvment in their lives of the people. Is it not enough every American feels betrayed by the present administration? Is it not enough Obama and his administration continue finding ways to pass the deadliest health care bill agaisnt the people, that will take most Americans to their death prematurely, because, Obama can’t wait to sign off on it, and laugh at the American people that he finally pulled it off. Is it not enough, Obama continues raising taxes against the middle class and the poor that can’t afford yesterday’s toilet paper. Is it not enough, Obama is sending the American people to hell in a handbasket? Is is not enough every political person in Washington, DC continues to kissing ass with Barack Obama, because they fear their jobs? Is it not enough, the American people no longer have a foot to stand on, and fear for their freedom. Is it not enough, Barack Obama and his administration continue taking more from the people, instead of seeking ways to give back what the people already lost? Is it not enough American is rapidly sinking into socialism at the hands of the man that stands at her helm today. Is it not enough, the American people no longer know where they stand as American’s? Is it not enough the American people have suffer long, but, no one cares to do anything about it for the people? Is it not enough, the people are being sent down endless roads in life to ruin, that they wonder how they got to that place in life without anything left to look forward to? Is it not enough our America is headed toward dictatorship rule, and no one is willing to stop the perpetrator? Is it not enough that no one seems to do anything to make things right for the people? When is enough, enough?
