Daily Mail:

    • Organizing for America will be able to raise unlimited amounts of money from individuals, unions and corporations
    • As a social welfare nonprofit not required to disclose its donors, it is the same type of organization that Obama has criticized in the past
    • News of the group’s launch came as it was revealed Obama plans to be more ‘assertive’ in issuing executive orders in his second term

President Obama is relaunching his massive campaign apparatus, Obama for America, as a nonprofit that can accept unlimited donations to support his policy agenda.

As a social welfare nonprofit established under the 501(c)(4) section of the tax code, the group will be able to accept unlimited donations from individuals and unions, as well as corporations.

President Obama has criticized organizations like Organizing for America in the past because they are not required to disclose their donors.  READ MORE
