Black Unemployment Rate 2nd Lowest On Record: 6.5%


Vote Republican in the November midterm elections if you want this to continue. Vote Democrat if you want to be on welfare.  It’s that straightforward. The Democrat Party needs dependents and the Republican Party needs self-sufficient and working people to survive.


The national unemployment rate for black workers in June was 6.5%, which is up from May, but is still the second lowest unemployment rate for blacks in America ever recorded by the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).  The BLS started to record the black unemployment rate in January 1972, nearly 50 years ago.

According to the BLS data released today, the national unemployment rate, seasonally adjusted, for Black or African American workers, 16 years and over, was 6.5%.

In May, that rate was 5.9%, the lowest ever recorded. June’s number is the second lowest ever recorded. In no other time since 1972 was black unemployment as low as 6.5%, except for May. Back in April 2018 the rate was 6.6%.   READ MORE
