From the beginning, the mainstream media have acted as a propaganda machine. In the days of slavery, many newspapers were aligned with the slaveholding Democrat Party. Today the mainstream media, including corporate networks, liberal outlets, and public media, still serve Democrats. The news is twisted by cherry-picking facts, using selective reporting and bias to highlight only what supports their narrative. Key context is left out: selective framing that changes meaning; half-truths that convey only part of the truth to deceive; and coverage that favors one side while silencing the other. Headlines are spun to shape the story before it’s read. Opinion is turned into reporting, with commentary dressed up as fact. Double standards are applied, treating the same events differently depending on who’s involved. News is suppressed by burying or refusing to cover stories damaging to their side. And outright lies are told by publishing falsehoods and endlessly repeating talking points and debunked claims.

The mainstream media smear political opponents, cover up scandals, push narratives, and do whatever it takes to protect Democrats — all while keeping Americans divided, ignorant, and conditioned to believe propaganda as truth.
