Rahm Emanuel On CNN: Trump’s Sycophantic Cabinet Contrasts Sharply With Obama’s Embrace Of Challenge

On CNN, Anderson Cooper interviewed Rep. Dan Goldman (D-NY), who criticized President Trump, followed by Rahm Emanuel. Emanuel mocked Trump’s Cabinet as “sycophants,” claiming Obama’s administration encouraged challenges.

Cooper asked Emanuel, “As somebody who has served at all levels of government, what stands out to you about this Cabinet Trump era tradition of everybody going around praising the president is, I mean that’s not normal, is it?” Emanuel responded, “I think the answer is in the question.” LOL! Of course it was.

Emanuel’s claim that Obama welcomed diverse perspectives clearly didn’t include conservatives. Of the 4,000–4,500 political appointments during Obama’s two terms, only three Republicans held Cabinet roles: Robert Gates, Ray LaHood, and Chuck Hagel—all widely seen as RINOs for their moderate stances and alignment with Democrat Party priorities. Obama’s idea of embracing challenges was seeing how far left he could push, only welcoming or prioritizing pushback from the progressive or far-left wing of the Democrat Party.

CNN should change its name to DNN.
