On Monday’s Rachel Maddow Show, Maddow casually dropped the news: MSNBC is rebranding to “MSNOW” — My Source for News, Opinion and the World — starting November 15.
Nothing changes except the name. Same hosts, same segments, same spin — just a new logo slapped on the same old machine.
Watch their faces and expressions in the clip below. Just as fake as the news they push.
Maddow said:
This is the last time I’ll get the hand off from you guys here on MSNBC. Next time we do this, we’re gonna be MS Now.
It’s gonna be completely, exactly the same.
Symone Sanders:
Can’t wait to see you next week on MS Now.
Maddow:
On MS Now, exactly. Getting ready for it already. I gotta tell you, when we make the name change, the big plan is to change absolutely nothing other than the name. But the name this time next week will be MS Now.”
So why the switch to “MSNOW”? Not for journalism. Not for viewers. Not for content.
It’s just corporate branding — a cosmetic facelift to make it look like something fresh is happening when absolutely nothing underneath is different.
New corporate owner — same network. Same shows. Same hosts. Same format. Same politics. Same editorial tone. Same producers. Same schedule. They’re still pushing Democrat Party propaganda — just with a new logo.
