Wong Kim Ark affirmed citizenship for a child of lawfully residing immigrants, not for children of illegal entrants — a question the Supreme Court has never directly resolved.
If Democrats get their way, then by their logic all 8 billion people on Earth could become “subject to the jurisdiction thereof” just by entering the U.S. illegally and giving birth.
