Kaitlan Collins brought on Commie Senator Elizabeth Warren (D) to share her opinions about tariffs and the Supreme Court ruling.
Warren said:
“Well, remember, the court didn’t say anything about refunds, cause court didn’t need to. What the court said is the money was seized illegally. Now everywhere in American law, when you take money that doesn’t belong to you, whether you do it by grabbing somebody’s purse or cheating them of in some other way, the first rule is you gotta give the money back. And that’s exactly what Scott Bessent said in the first instance. If the court says it’s not legal for these tariffs to go through, and that’s what they said, then he’s got to turn around and give the money back. I just, this one is not even to me even open or arguable. How would the United States government keep money that the Supreme Court has said it did not legally collect from American businesses, that it did not legally take away from the American families?”
Warren says, “the first rule is you gotta give the money back.” Okay — then where are our refunds?
The hypocrisy is outrageous: Commie Elizabeth Warren (D), goes on CNN to accuse President Trump of stealing from the American people, while she and her party gives non-stop trillions of taxpayer dollars to illegal aliens. And they pour countless trillions more into failed green-energy boondoggles, improper payments to the wrong recipients (including dead people), and endless pet projects — but Democrats never talk about refunding the families who get stuck paying for that bill.
Here’s what the Supreme Court actually held: Trump used the wrong law — IEEPA doesn’t authorize the President to impose those tariffs the way they were imposed.
The Court did not say Trump grabbed our purses or cheated anyone. And it did not order refunds or spell out a “give the money back” rule in the decision.
Three justices explained how the majority got it wrong. Their argument is simple: IEEPA lets the President “regulate… importation,” and historically that kind of authority has included imposing tariffs (import duties). Justice Kavanaugh wrote the main dissent, joined by Justices Thomas and Alito, and they argued the majority read the statute too narrowly by treating “regulate importation” as covering embargo-style controls and restrictions but not tariffs. They pointed to past uses of nearly identical language in IEEPA’s predecessor statute, the Trading with the Enemy Act — including Nixon’s 1971 import surcharge that courts upheld — to argue Congress understood “regulate importation” could include tariffs when it enacted IEEPA.
Commie Elizabeth Warren has spent the last 13 years in Congress pushing policies that take more from American taxpayers, but now she’s demanding refunds from Trump—back to businesses. Watch and see: if businesses get refunds, some of that money will flow right back to her in the form of campaign donations.
Bringing on Elizabeth Warren is not news—it’s straight-up Democrat propaganda theater on CNN. Warren is a Commie Democrat liar who peddles this stolen money nonsense while ignoring how her own party’s endless spending, socialism, open borders, and higher taxes steal from taxpayers every day without a peep about refunds.
