The Epstein case took place during the presidencies of George W. Bush, Barack Obama, Donald Trump, and Joe Biden. Epstein was federally prosecuted during Trump’s first term, and Epstein-related files began to be released during Trump’s second term after President Trump signed the Epstein Files Transparency Act into law on November 19, 2025.
Over those approximately 20 years, from the Palm Beach police investigation beginning in March 2005 to the major DOJ file releases in late 2025 and early 2026, Democrats controlled government often enough to have done something meaningful about Epstein if they had truly wanted to. They controlled both chambers of Congress multiple times, including periods of unified government in which they also held the presidency, yet they did not pursue the kind of transparency they suddenly claim to support today.
With Trump back in office, they pretend to be deeply concerned and try to tie him to Epstein, even though no public evidence has shown that Trump engaged in criminal wrongdoing with him.
If there were proof that Trump had committed a crime, it would have surfaced publicly by now. President Trump is the only president to sign a law requiring the public release of Epstein-related files. Democrats and the media continue trying to implicate Trump in Epstein’s crimes, even though no public evidence has shown that he committed any criminal wrongdoing. Democrats use Epstein as a political weapon.
