On the June 8 episode of The Rachel Maddow Show, Rachel Maddow claimed Republicans are losing their minds and falsely claim that there must be fraud in the LA Mayor race.
Yet California’s elections showed multiple red flags:
- Skid Row homeless paid to vote: Videos and reports from Skid Row show homeless residents openly admitting they were paid cash ($4–$5 or more) to vote for Karen Bass and Nithya Raman. Federal prosecutors have charged individuals for paying homeless people to register and vote. Witnesses described organized drives with incentives like cigarettes.
- Massive homeless shelter voter registrations: Nearly 7,600 voters tied to LA homeless shelters and service providers. The Midnight Mission in Skid Row had 1,160 registered voters but only 120 beds. St. Joseph Center in Venice (a drop-in center with zero beds) had 185 registered voters and received a $600,000 grant from Nithya Raman while she chaired the Housing Committee. A bombshell photo directly links Raman to the center.
- 873,092 inactive ghost voters on rolls: Judicial Watch’s federal lawsuit reveals 873,092 voter registrations that have remained continuously inactive for at least three federal elections in violation of federal law. These dirty rolls make fraud far easier.
- Late-night ballot dumps and vote shifts: Spencer Pratt held a clear lead on election night. Then, over several days of counting heavily Democratic mail-in ballots, Nithya Raman surged ahead and passed him. Some updates showed massive gains for Raman and Bass with zero new votes for Pratt in certain batches.
- Federal investigations active: Trump-appointed First Assistant U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli announced multiple election fraud probes underway, expects charges soon, and is specifically investigating the homeless voter registration issues. He is also pushing for a full voter roll audit.
And that’s barely scratching the surface of how Democrats steal elections in California.
Fake news outlets like Maddow’s MS NOW never investigate or report on Democratic election fraud because they’re nothing but Democrat propagandists. The fake news spent the entire 2020 election denying or excusing problems with ballot harvesting, nursing home scandals, dirty rolls in blue cities, suspicious late-night ballot dumps that flipped key battleground states, the flood of unsecured drop boxes, and so much more.
They also defended or ignored the notorious scenes in Detroit and around the nation where Republican and independent poll watchers were kicked out, windows were covered up, and ballots were counted in secret behind closed doors. Yet they scream “threat to democracy” the second Republicans expose obvious irregularities. Rachel Maddow is not a journalist — she is a Democratic propagandist.

It’s a busy day. Today that signature failing, that signature categorical failure of the Trump administration meets the signature goal of the Trump administration, which is, as you know, to make sure that Donald Trump and Republicans stay in power even when they lose elections.
California is a lot bigger than New York City, but California’s elections kind of feel the same.
In California, Donald Trump lost to Kamala Harris by more than 20 points.
In Los Angeles County specifically, Donald Trump lost to Kamala Harris by more than 30 points.
But somehow, despite that track record that he himself has racked up in California, somehow Donald Trump is now trying to convince Californians and the nation that somehow impossible, somehow unbelievable that a Republican has not made it to the runoff in the Los Angeles mayors race, and it’s somehow impossible that a Republican might not make it to the runoff in the governor’s race either.
Tonight, the Associated Press projected that in addition to the incumbent LA Mayor, Karen Bass, the other candidate who will advance to the run off election in November for the mayor of Los Angeles will be the progressive city councillor counselor Nithya Raman, and not the right wing reality show guy endorsed by Trump, whose name is Spencer Pratt.
Spencer Pratt will not make the runoff. Nithya Raman and Karen Bass will. And Republicans are losing their minds over this. But they are not just complaining. This is important. Trump and other Republicans are now trying to problematize that result. They are trying to tell you that result can’t possibly be real. They’re trying to undermine it and falsely claim that there must be fraud in this election somehow.
