I saw this story on MS NOW, CNN, PBS, ABC, CBS, NPR, The Washington Post, New York Times etc… They wouldn’t stop reporting it because they were outraged an illegal alien voted in the 2024 election and stole from taxpayers.
JUST KIDDING.
The corporate/liberal/public news media does not report on crimes committed by illegal aliens. Fox News and a few others do sometimes. But most fail to headline and mention the immigration status.
I can’t stomach watching Fox News most of the time. They bring on a bunch of people to share their opinions and talk over the news. But at least they reported this story.
Here’s the story the big networks apparently decided wasn’t newsworthy:
A 59-60 year old Colombian national named Lina Maria Orovio-Hernandez was convicted in federal court in Massachusetts. She had been living illegally in the U.S. for more than two decades using the stolen identity of a U.S. citizen born in Puerto Rico.
Using that fake identity, she:
- Obtained multiple state IDs, including a Massachusetts REAL ID, and even applied for a U.S. passport.
- Fraudulently collected over $400,000 in federal benefits (Section 8 housing assistance, disability payments, SNAP/food stamps, etc.).
- Registered to vote and cast a fraudulent ballot in the November 2024 presidential election.
She was convicted on charges including aggravated identity theft, false representation of a Social Security number, making false statements on a passport application, receiving stolen government money, and fraudulent voting. In May 2026, she was sentenced to 33 months in federal prison and ordered to pay back $404,194 in restitution. She faces deportation afterward.
She only got 33 months for living in the USA illegally for decades, cheating in an election, and stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars. And God only knows how many other crimes she committed during that time.
American citizens shouldn’t have their identities stolen, their tax dollars siphoned, and their votes diluted by people who aren’t supposed to be here.
