On MSNBC, Alicia Menendez, whose parents, Democrat Senator Bob Menendez and stepmother Nadine Menendez, were convicted of bribery, extortion, and conspiracy to act as a foreign agent, read the headline “Welcome to Trump’s Mafia State” from The New York Times and brought on a different writer from The New York Times to agree with their colleague. Then Menendez brought on a second guest and, predictably, he also agreed. Three people agreed, so it must be true.
The NYT writer also said Harvard was getting all this good publicity for being a champion of academic freedom, for being, you know, for kind of not caving like Columbia, highlighting the contrast between the two.
This is absurd, with MSNBC, or rather MSDNC, acting as an echo chamber for New York Times op-eds, amplified by a host with a conflicted family background, all Democrats pushing a partisan narrative masquerading as journalism. Isn’t it interesting how the media, in defending Harvard against Trump’s funding threats, is so concerned about Harvard getting their BILLIONS? You know why. It’s not about cures or medical advancements. It’s for producing more Democrats like them.
