California Governor’s Press Office Posts Doctored Trump Photo On X

California Governor Gavin Newsom is at it again — using taxpayer dollars to push cheap propaganda on X. His official Press Office just posted a doctored image of President Donald Trump, and it looks like something cooked up by a bitter teenager with Photoshop, not a government office.

Newsom’s Press Office X account is mean, nasty, and amateurish — hardly the professionalism you’d expect from the governor of America’s largest state. But worse than the petty and childish tone is the fact that they’re peddling fake images of a president Trump

The first photo below isn’t real — and yet this is what Newsom’s press team thinks is worth blasting out to the public.

Look closely:

Newsom’s version has warped proportions — Trump’s face looks unnaturally stretched and out of scale with the hat and shirt.

The skin shows odd textures — blotchy smooth areas alongside overly sharp patches, classic signs of sloppy Photoshop or AI.

Around the hat and hairline, there’s mismatched blending, where the edges blur or don’t align with the background.

The real photo below has natural lighting, correct proportions, and the crisp detail you’d expect from a professional press or wire service. The shadows under the hat, the sharp facial features, and the background depth all look consistent.
