CNN Poll: Only 32% Of Americans Say Trump Has The Right Priorities — Because CNN Won’t Tell You What They Are

Democrats who watch CNN don’t think President Trump has the right priorities. But why would they, when most of CNN’s coverage is polls and anti-Trump pundit panels instead of news about what the administration is actually focusing on?

One of Trump’s biggest stated priorities has been finding the 450,000 unaccompanied migrant children who were illegally smuggled across the U.S. border. The Biden administration lost track of them after they were released to unvetted sponsors. Many of these kids ended up in dangerous situations. DHS says it has located 132,720 children so far and counting. In Minnesota alone, during Operation Metro Surge, officials located 3,364 missing unaccompanied children, but most CNN viewers won’t hear that. Tom Homan has said, they won’t stop looking for these kids until every one of them is found. But Kaitlin Collins and CNN won’t investigate and report on that priority.

So either CNN viewers don’t think finding migrant children who were placed with unvetted sponsors—and then lost by the Biden administration—is a good priority, or they simply don’t know about it. Which is it?

Below are 15 stated priorities—starting with the kids—so people can see some of Trump’s priorities instead of relying on a CNN poll.

1. Locate unaccompanied children and stop trafficking/exploitation. DHS has publicly tied this mission to rescuing vulnerable kids and targeting trafficking networks, saying the Biden administration and Democrats allowed roughly 450,000 unaccompanied children to be placed with “unvetted sponsors,” and that many were raped, exploited, trafficked, or otherwise harmed. DHS says the Trump administration has now located 132,720 of those children so far. In Minnesota, Tom Homan said ICE located 3,364 unaccompanied minors during Operation Metro Surge. Yet most national coverage won’t report this news, so a lot of viewers never even hear about it—and have no clue what’s being prioritized.

Saving the kids, securing the U.S. border, protecting Americans, ending the cartels, and stopping human/child/drug trafficking are among President Trump’s top priorities—but the people who watch CNN don’t think those are the right priorities.

2. Secure the border and end catch-and-release. The White House “America First Priorities” page lists border actions like reinstating Remain in Mexico, building the wall, cracking down on sanctuaries, and stronger vetting/screening.

3. Carry out large-scale deportations focused on public safety threats. Trump’s official “20 Core Promises” includes the “largest deportation operation,” and the White House priorities page frames deportation operations around criminal aliens.

4. Make America energy-dominant and bring down energy costs. The White House priorities hub includes “Unleash American Energy,” and Trump’s platform lists energy dominance as a core promise. Gas is around $2.75 today.

5. End inflation and make America affordable again. Trump’s “20 Core Promises” explicitly lists affordability and ending inflation as a top goal.

6. Bring back jobs and turn the U.S. into a manufacturing powerhouse. Trump’s platform lists stopping outsourcing and becoming a manufacturing superpower as a core promise.

7. Cut taxes for workers and eliminate taxes on tips. Trump’s platform lists “large tax cuts for workers” and “no tax on tips” as a core promise.

8. Protect public safety and support law enforcement. The White House priorities hub includes “Support Public Safety” as a top priority area.

9. America First trade policy. The White House issued an “America First Trade Policy” memorandum setting the direction for trade priorities.

10. America First foreign policy. The White House issued an “America First Policy Directive” to the Secretary of State stating the foreign policy approach.

11. Rebuild American cities, including Washington, D.C., making them safe, clean, and beautiful again.

12. Strengthen and modernize our military.

13. Fight for and protect Social Security and Medicare with no cuts, including no changes to the retirement age.

14. Keep men out of women’s sports.

15. Secure our elections, including same day voting, voter identification, paper ballots, and proof of citizenship.

If CNN wants to run a poll asking whether President Trump has the “right priorities,” it should also report what those priorities actually are—and the real-world actions tied to them—so Americans aren’t being asked to judge an agenda they were never shown.
