While speaking to a Black crowd in Georgia recently, Democrat Gavin Newsom said he can relate to Black people because he scored a 960 on the SAT. The SAT total score ranges from 400–1600, and 960 is below average. Then he implied Black people can’t read. You have got to watch the clip below.
The Black interviewer and crowd laughed about this, but it wasn’t a joke. It was a racist comment. This racist thinking is so ingrained in the Democrat Party of slavery that they don’t even see it’s racist.
Tying Black people to “below average” SAT scores is a racist stereotype about academic ability. That’s insulting, and it shouldn’t be brushed off as a joke.

It gets worse. Gavin Newsom is blaming dyslexia for his racist comments, and his press office posted about it on X. It’s hard to believe this is real—grown adults are invoking dyslexia to explain away racist remarks, while also calling critics “vile” for sharing the video and discussing what was said.
The account’s bio below reads: “Official account for the press office of @CAGovernor Gavin Newsom #CaliforniaForAll.”
If a politician tries to excuse racist comments by citing a neurobiological disability, they’re not fit to hold office.
