MSNBC Suggests A Supporter Might Have Fired Gun That Shot Kirk In ‘Celebration’

In the immediate aftermath of the shooting at Charlie Kirk’s “American Comeback Tour” event at Utah Valley University, MSNBC wasted no time jumping into wild speculation. One guest even claimed it might have been “a supporter shooting their gun off in celebration.” How can anyone say that with a straight face?

On MSNBC, a guest speculated:

“Yeah, and again I emphasize what you just emphasized, we don’t know any the full details of this… we don’t know if this was a supporter shooting their gun off in celebration or so. We have no idea about this.”

Think about that: in the same breath he admits we have no idea about this, he still floats the baseless claim that it could have been a supporter in the crowd firing in “celebration.” The idea that celebratory gunfire explains Charlie Kirk being shot in the neck isn’t just wrong—it’s delusional.

And MSNBC didn’t stop there. They went further—framing Kirk himself as part of the problem:

“He’s been one of the most divisive, especially divisive younger figures in this who is constantly sort of pushing this sort of hate speech aimed at certain groups. And I always go back to hateful thoughts lead to hateful words, which then lead to hateful actions. And I think that’s the environment we’re in. People just… you can’t stop what these sort of awful thoughts you have, and then saying these awful words, and not expect awful actions to take place.”

MSNBC went beyond speculating about the shooter—they smeared Kirk, pointing to his words as the cause. The gunman fired the shot, but MSNBC pinned the blame on Kirk.

This is the sad state of MSNBC: a network that gave up reporting facts long ago and now survives by inventing stories, pushing speculation, and smearing Republicans.

MSNBC isn’t news. It’s brain rot. Turn it off.
