This Is CNN: WaPo Commentator’s Wile E. Coyote Analogy Prompts Burnett To Call Trump’s Policies “Terrifying”

On Erin Burnett’s very fake news show, a Washington Post reporter claimed that Donald Trump is a lame-duck president. While Trump is technically a lame-duck president, his second term has only just begun. The lame-duck label typically gains traction later, when a president’s influence wanes as attention shifts to future candidates. For now, Trump commands substantial political clout, so the lame-duck effect is far from fully realized.

Next, spare us your recycled “Wile E. Coyote, we’ve run off the cliff” analogy. Are Burnett’s viewers so dim that they need a cartoon reference to understand? The WaPo commentator remarked, “We don’t know how bad this is going to be,” to which Erin Burnett responded, “And that’s a terrifying thing.” She’s terrified—oh, heavens, save us! Federal government mouthpiece Erin Burnett is terrified of government spending cuts. Yet she’s never once expressed terror over illegal aliens killing and raping Americans.

After her third 4½-minute commercial break, Burnett will resume her anti-Trump tirade, pivoting to another judge who believes he can halt Trump’s deportation of Venezuelan gang members. Then she’ll dive into a $2 billion deal in Dubai. Why? She said it herself—not because it’s significant news or carries positive implications, but because it’s another opportunity to cast Trump in a negative light, perfectly aligned with her relentlessly one-sided coverage. This is par for the course for Burnett, whose show is a nonstop smear campaign against Trump, disguised as journalism. Come Monday, she’ll be back “reporting” more of the same.

If you’ve ever wondered why some Democrats are so vehemently anti-Trump, ignorant, and misinformed, look no further than the cable news they consume.
