SEATTLE — As Venezuelans around the world celebrate the capture of Nicolas Maduro, people in Seattle took to the streets to protest the United States’ military operation and invasion.
“The people united will never be defeated,” crowds chanted from Seattle’s waterfront.
The military operation and at least seven explosions heard across Caracas, Venezuela’s capital, have drawn criticism from some Americans, including people in Western Washington.
“What are we the world’s policemen? We decide who lives, who dies?” Dale Hoffman questioned on Saturday.
