During the September 11 edition of CNN’s The Source with Kaitlan Collins, Collins brought on former Obama official Van Jones and former RINO Congressman Charlie Dent to trash President Trump.
Earlier in the episode, Collins set the stage for viewers by declaring, “I’m joined tonight by two of my top political sources…”
Calling these two “political sources” is a joke. Real news sources provide primary evidence, raw facts, and direct information from the origin of a story. Van Jones and Dent aren’t providing any of that; they are paid anti-Trump commentators hired to talk about President Trump’s Truth Social posts, share their opinions, and further CNN’s anti-Trump Democrat narratives.
Collins should rename the show Out of Sources.

The three talking heads focused on a video Trump reposted on Truth Social on September 11, which was the original message he recorded on January 6, 2021, telling crowds at the Capitol to go home and remain peaceful.
Collins described the people Trump was addressing as “rioters” who had “ransacked the Capitol.”
Jones went further, calling them “not patriotic,” “traitors,” and “treasonous,” while Dent characterized January 6 as “a mob trying to prevent the peaceful transfer of power.”
Most of their anger centered around the fact that Trump reposted the video on September 11.
Jones said he was “thrown” by it and asked, “Who does that?”
Dent questioned why Trump would “throw that into the mix” on a day of remembrance.
Since when does commemorating 9/11 mean a president is forbidden from posting about anything else that day?
The video Trump reposted was literally a message telling people to keep the peace and go home.
Van Jones then shifted the discussion to the leadership of New York City, referencing Mayor Zohran Mamdani.
Jones praised the fact that, 25 years after the September 11 attacks, New York City has a Muslim mayor.
Jones argued that this fact “says more about the American spirit” than anything said at the Pentagon earlier that day.
Jones then praised the mayor shaking hands with former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, calling it “the most American thing”.
Once again, Collins’ “top political sources” were just an anti-Trump former Obama official and an anti-Trump former RINO congressman.
There was zero disagreement on this panel.
Every time I turn on this show, it is the same thing: Trump haters portrayed as objective news, sitting around complaining about Trump and his social media posts.
Fake news indeed.
