Jen Psaki: Patel Brought Case Of Bourbon To FBI Training, Threatened Polygraphs & Prosecutions Over Missing Bottle

On Wednesday, May 7, 2026, Jen Psaki — a longtime Democrat operative who has worked for Democratic campaigns, the DNC, Obama, and Biden for over 25 years — used her MS NOW show The Briefing with Jen Psaki to repeat left-wing media attacks on President Trump’s FBI Director, Kash Patel.

Jen Psaki said:

“Right now, Donald Trump’s FBI director Kash Patel is being buried under a mountain of embarrassing and damning reports.

Yesterday, The Atlantic reported that he has his own personalized Bourbon stash.

And in one instance, he reportedly brought a case to a training seminar at the FBI’s training facility, where at one point a bottle went missing, which caused him to, quote, ‘lose his mind.’

According to the reporting, Patel then began threatening to polygraph and prosecute staff over the missing Bourbon bottle.

The FBI told The Atlantic this was all false.

Well, today MSNBC now has new reporting that there is actually an insane amount of polygraphing happening just this week.

Patel ordered the polygraphs for more than two dozen members of his team.

According to this reporting, in an attempt to catch whoever is talking about him to the media…”

Psaki clearly wanted her audience to picture Kash Patel as an unhinged boss who brings his own liquor to FBI events, throws a tantrum when a bottle disappears, and then threatens mass polygraphs and prosecutions over it.

What she downplayed is that the FBI itself told The Atlantic the bourbon story is completely false.

Instead, Psaki pivoted to new reporting about Patel ordering polygraphs for over two dozen staffers this week. She framed it as paranoia and a leak hunt, while the segment ended by bringing on former Obama Attorney General Eric Holder for more anti-Patel commentary.

Psaki didn’t investigate — she simply read left-wing media hit pieces on air and treated them as undisputed truth. Then brought on a Democrat to share his opinions.
