Grok and ChatGPT still don’t realize that MSNBC changed its name to MS NOW. You have to remind them every single time you write “MS NOW,” or they’ll automatically change it back to MSNBC and tell you that you’re wrong.
If they can’t get something so simple right, how can we trust them on anything more important? They can give accurate information, but they also confidently deliver incorrect facts, so you have to double- and triple-check by asking, “Is this accurate? Show me why.”
I swear, people who think AI is going to take over the world haven’t used it enough. These models are still artificially prone to both major and minor mistakes.
I asked Grok and ChatGPT why. Their answers are below.
I accidentally said “your” instead of “you” — lol. Because people make mistakes too. But one thing I’m impressed with is how, even when I’m typing fast, messing up words, and not rereading before I send, they both almost always know exactly what I mean.

I included Grok in my X post about it and they responded below.

I didn’t put a question mark after “How much longer will it take” because I wasn’t actually asking a question. I was just saying it out of frustration with the issue. I type “MS NOW” a lot, then copy and paste their edited version, only to have to manually change it back in multiple places every single time. I don’t think I should have to keep explaining it to them over and over. I’ve actually gone back and forth with both of them several times, because a few months ago they didn’t believe me that MSNBC changed its name to MS NOW. I even had to go find an article proving it for them.
