On Tuesday, July 21, 2026, Jacob Soboroff filled in for Lawrence O’Donnell on MS NOW’s The Last Word as Arizona voters chose the Republican nominee who would challenge Democratic Governor Katie Hobbs in November.
Before bringing Hobbs on for a friendly election-night interview, Soboroff delivered MS NOW’s familiar characterization of anyone who questions the 2020 election:
“..Since the 2020 election, Arizona has become a focal point in the fight over election denial and those false claims of widespread voter fraud.
And Governor Hobbs knows that fight better than almost anybody.
Because before she was elected governor in 2022, Katie Hobbs served as Arizona secretary of state, and Katie Hobbs had to defend Arizona’s election system against election deniers like Donald Trump and some of his allies, who repeatedly challenged Arizona’s certified 2020 election results.”
Soboroff did not say that every claim of voter fraud was false. He specifically called claims of “widespread voter fraud” false.
By inserting the word “widespread,” Soboroff frames the dispute as a question of scale—not whether voter fraud exists at all—because even this fake-news host cannot honestly claim that no voter fraud occurred in the 2020 election.
He then skips over any examination of specific fraud allegations, irregularities, or disputed evidence and simply labels everyone who challenged Arizona’s certified results an “election denier.”
The segment portrayed Hobbs as the heroic defender of Arizona’s election system while introducing Republican Congressman Andy Biggs through his decision to object to Arizona’s electoral votes following January 6.
This is how the media manufactures a political narrative without conducting any serious investigation into election fraud in Arizona or elsewhere across the nation.
They announce the conclusion, attach a damaging label to anyone who disagrees, and then interview the Democratic politician who benefits from that framing.
Soboroff’s claim is not that voter fraud does not exist.
His claim is that election fraud was not “widespread.”
But election fraud is widespread and it does determine the outcome of many elections.
Not to mention, every time Democrats get power they open our borders and send tens of millions of illegal aliens all over the USA, which inflates census numbers. This gives certain states extra congressional seats and electoral votes — helping Democrats.
That is why the mainstream media refuse to investigate and report on illegal alien crime and election fraud. They hide how bad it is so the public doesn’t know — because their job is to help Democrats get elected!
