And so it begins. The media will defend the system at all costs.
On today’s episode, Morning Joe attacked Trump’s election integrity speech as filled with “conspiracies,” “lies,” “misinformation and disinformation.”
They openly admitted they wouldn’t fact-check the full speech because they had “an appointment at 1 PM” and would only hit the “highlights” of what they called lies. The hosts mocked President Trump’s concerns about voting machine vulnerabilities, laughed them off, and claimed Trump “didn’t prove anything about China” — even though he posted declassified intelligence documents on the official WhiteHouse.gov website detailing China’s massive compromise of American voter data (220 million files) and proven vulnerabilities in electronic voting systems.
Here is what they said:
Fox News Reporter:
“Sean, you also heard the president make claims that electronic voting machines are vulnerable and easily compromised.
Fox News has not seen that evidence yet, is not in a position to evaluate the accuracy of the president’s statements and claims at this time.
Joe Scarborough
You know what that was sound of.
Mika Brzezinski:
Yeaaaaah.
Joe Scarborough:
That was the sound of a a, a network that had to pay over $700 million for lying about the so called rigged elections in 2020 already.
Mika Brzezinski:
And we start there.
Fox News last night with that disclaimer about President Trump’s false claims about voting machines.
We’re gonna fact check more of the, uh, roughly 25 minutes speech that was filled with conspiracies.
Joe Scarborough:
We can’t fact check the whole thing, because Willie and I have an appointment at 1 PM at Off-Track Betting, if we take his past 1 PM.
Willie Geist:
LOL LOL
Joe Scarborough:
So we’re gonna we’re just gonna hit the highlights of all the things that were lies and misinformation and disinformation.
Mika Brzezinski:
Yeah, yeah really might do an Instagram live fact check.
Joe Scarborough:
Here’s the thing they, he didn’t he didn’t prove what he wanted to prove.
Like, he didn’t prove anything about China.
He didn’t prove anything about that we didn’t already know before. He spread a lot of disinformation.”
Laughing, rushing, cherry-picking, calling everything “conspiracies,” “lies,” “misinformation and disinformation,” and flat-out denying documents that are publicly posted on https://whitehouse.gov/election-integrity/
This is not journalism. It’s a perfect, embarrassing example of partisan propaganda defending the old and corrupt system.
Americans deserve real election integrity with paper trails, full audits, and transparency — not media gaslighting from hosts who won’t even do their own homework.
Wake up, America. This is how the establishment stays in power.
