Virtually the entire population of Nigeria is Black, with some estimates putting the figure at around 99.9%. Nigeria is widely recognized as the most populous Black nation in the world, with over 220 million people. Yet the reaction from Reverend Al Sharpton and House Democrat Whip Katherine Clark was telling — instead of applauding efforts to defend innocent Black Christians facing real persecution, they chose to attack Trump. I guess when it comes to politics, Black lives only matter when they’re politically useful.
