Rolling Stone Reporter On MSNBC: Trump Would Joke To Confidants That He Wouldn’t Mind If Iranian Agents Took Out John Bolton

Asawin is Rolling Stone’s Senior Politics Reporter. LOL!!! He just slandered Donald Trump.

Rolling Stone Reporter Asawin Suebsaeng: We reported at Rolling Stone that back during the waning months of the 2024 presidential campaign, uh, Trump would joke, or quote unquote, joke to confidants, that while they were talking about, uh, alleged Iranian assassination plots against Trump himself, he would say, having heard that there was, uh, reports or US prosecutors talking about a similar plot against John Bolton, that he wouldn’t mind if Iranian agents took out John Bolton. And he would follow up by saying things like, oh, that’s terrible, I shouldn’t say that and smirking. But it was very clear to advisers and people close to who heard this, uh, where his head was at when he, when he was saying stuff like this. Now that he’s leader of the free world again, uh, one of his first acts on his retribution tour has been to direct his ire at, um, former officials of his who hurt his feelings. That includes John Bolton, as you pointed out, Mike Pompeo, Brian Hook, and of course, Doctor Anthony Fauci, who was one of the four who was not involved with the Iranian policies, but someone who Trump wants to take vengeance on. Um, regardless, and there is a casual depravity to this that I, um, that I think we’re all getting a little too used to.

MSNBC Fill-In Host: Sure. So I guess my question is, um, I understand…
