The House Oversight Subcommittee held a roundtable this week examining the crisis of unaccompanied alien children and their vulnerability to cartel exploitation. What should have been a serious bipartisan discussion quickly revealed a disturbing truth: not a single Democrat attended.
Why didn’t a single Democrat show up? Because if you’re sex-trafficking children like the Democratic Party, you sure as hell aren’t going to attend a House Oversight meeting about it.
Under questioning by Rep. Eli Crane (R-AZ), Dr. Saldusky — a trained criminologist with over 26 years of experience studying criminals and victims — described his direct conversations with a Sinaloa Cartel member named Mr. Flores, who had been in charge of narcotics distribution in the United States.
Rep. Eli Crane:
“There’s not one single Democrat here today… just goes to show that they only really care about these kids when it fits their agenda.
Dr. Saldusky, you are a trained criminologist, is that correct?”
Dr. Saldusky:
“Correct.”
Rep. Eli Crane:
“How long have you been studying criminals and victims in our criminal justice system?”
Dr. Saldusky:
“Over 26 years.”
Rep. Eli Crane:
“You said in your opening statement that you were able to interview a member of the Sinaloa Cartel. I believe you said his name was Mr. Flores, is that correct?”
Dr. Saldusky:
“Correct.”
Rep. Eli Crane:
“Where did you interview Mr. Flores, Doctor?”
Dr. Saldusky:
“Mr. Flores was discovered when I was researching his testimony. He’s testified before Congress. He was also a key witness in the leadership of the Sinaloa Cartel. That’s why I initiated the interviews with him, which were over the phone.”
Rep. Eli Crane:
“Was he in prison?”
Dr. Saldusky:
“No.”
Rep. Eli Crane:
“Okay. What was his affiliation with the cartels?”
Dr. Saldusky:
“He was in charge of distribution of illicit narcotics in the United States.”
Rep. Eli Crane:
“You said that he told you about a booklet that the cartel had that listed these kids almost like a Sears catalogue with price tags for purchase. Is that correct?”
Dr. Saldusky:
“That is correct.”
Rep. Eli Crane:
“Did you say how many kids were in these booklets?”
Dr. Saldusky:
“He said many, but he did not provide a number.”
Rep. Eli Crane:
“Did you say in your opening statement that their prices were higher if they were virgins or of a younger age?”
Dr. Saldusky:
“That is correct.”
Rep. Eli Crane:
“You think that maybe some of the testimony like that is why there’s no Democrats in this room today?”
Dr. Saldusky:
“Absolutely.”
Democrats’ open-border policies have purposely allowed cartels to engage in the sex trafficking of children — catalogued in “Sears-like” booklets and sold at premium prices for the youngest and for virgins. Instead of confronting this evil, Democrats skipped the roundtable entirely, and the mainstream media has almost completely blacked it out. Their empty chairs and silence were not accidental. They were deliberate.
Democrats and the media have once again proven they are the human, child, and sex trafficking party of slavery — now, then, and always.
