PBS NewsHour showed a post from an Iranian official saying Iran is deliberately dragging its feet on nuclear talks because they know Americans are suffering from higher gas prices.
Then, they played a clip of Trump saying he wasn’t focused on the financial situation — clearly trying to make him look like he doesn’t care about Americans.
But here’s the reality: you can’t have a financial situation if you’re dead. Gas prices matter, but they are far less important than stopping Iran from getting a nuclear weapon and murdering tens of thousands people.
Iran is actively working to help Democrats win in November by keeping gas prices high.
